Reflections
Humility - Reflection of Strength

"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."   Ephesians 4:2

The goal of Christians is to reflect the life of Christ in their own lives.  Christ did not come as a king; he came in the form of a servant. He demonstrated his humility in his obedience to God the Father. Jesus waited for the Father to lift him up.  He didn't grab power or position.  He waited patiently.

Humility is not a weakness or passivity; it is a disciplined strength that comes from being Christ-centered. Follow Jesus' example as you seek to demonstrate the kind of humility that will allow others to see Jesus in you.

"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up."

James 4:10
